2025 Strategy Planning Event

The way I run this event works for a variety of businesses at various different stages, the event is right for you if you are ready to spend focused time working on your business and get super clear of your plan for 2025 & beyond. Do not attend if you don't like being challenged or are unable to remain focused for a long period of time - day 1 particularly is intense. This is an event for people who want depth and are prepared to push themselves / their thinking. 

How do I know if this is right for my business?

Hi friend, me too... I created this event as it's the type of event I want to attend. It's small, hyper focused on your business and you can be as involved or not as you want to be with connecting with others. Most of the people who tend to come would say they aren't particularly the life and soul of the party but really enjoy themselves due to what a lovely group of people I bring together. Day 1 finishes at 6.30pm to allow you to have a relaxed evening and decompress alone - something I really need!

How do I get to newcastle Upon Tyne, UK?

We have a B&B rate agreement with a fabulous hotel for £135 p/night where we will be based for some of the event should you wish to use that (just email support@mayjames.com and we'll point you in the direction to book) however there are numerous hotels around the city that are great, for all budgets / preferences. You will be sent a Newcastle City Guide in August that we are creating to help you plan your trip!

No, on Wednesday early evening we'll be located in a local bar (pre-event Champagne hour), day 1 of the event is held in an airy meeting space within a beautiful hotel, day 2 we have a mixture and end in a Art gallery. All event spaces are within the city centre (easy to get to either walking or by taxi).  All locations will be sent to you prior to the event. 

ARE WE GOING TO BE IN ONE SPACE FOR THE WHOLE 2 DAYS?

Quite a lot of the women I work with are, including me! I request that you let me know with as much time as possible what accommodations / learning preferences you have and I will do my best to make your time at the event as comfortable as possible. Previous attendees have brought along any aids that help them day to day which is most welcome. As standard we make sure you have access to both digital & printed workbooks and that there's always a breakout space available.

how will the event run? What is the schedule?

Yes, of course! When you book your ticket, please let me know straight away (support@mayjames.com) and we will do our best to make sure your experience is unaffected as much as possible (normally we can make sure there's nothing you are without). The longer notice you give us the better we can do! If you'd like to speak with us in detail prior to booking a ticket, drop me a dm or email us! 

I have dietary requirements, can you accomodate? 

No. This isn't a retreat, it is not a networking event, it isn't a piss up. It's a really intense business strategy event where people's brains are often quite frazzled by the end in many respects. You are coming on a business trip to work and although there's nice part sprinkled in, it is very much an focused time working directly with me - my approach is intense, my approach is direct and we have a huge agenda to get through! Do not attend if you're looking for a social gathering. 

I've been to events before where it's just a social gathering, will this be like that? 

Of course! You are so welcome. Alcohol is available at various points for those who want it but it is by no means a key part of the event, it's a very much have drink or 2 and then leave situation. You'll be able to let us know on your onboarding form if you don't drink / aren't and we will ensure that you have delicious soft drinks available to you. 

I don't drink, am I still welcome?
